Bewegung tut gut 40 Jahre Rote Fabrik Limmatverlag Zürich More
In the midst of the youth revolt, Rote Fabrik was opened in 1980 as an alternative cultural center in Zurich. This book looks back at the history of the place and tells the story of Zurichs alternative culture up to the present day, which begins with resistance and ends with the establishment of a new understanding of culture, of which the Rote Fabrik became a symbol. The contributions critically examine the present and the institutions self-image, telling stories from before and behind the scenes. For the first time, archival treasures were unearthed for this book, and countless documents and photos were sifted through and classified.
