Rap History (Event & Publication Series)
Continuous project which includes a monthly event, a tape and a fanzine. The event started in Zurich in 2005, now running in Berlin since 2007. The concept underlying is, that at each party rap music is played that was released in a single featured year. The event series consists of ca. 30 events, taking the range from 1979 to present. Each accompanying zine features background information about the facts and figures of each year. Each mixtape rocks the most relevant tunes of the particular year in a condensed 60-minutes mix.
